We recently collaborated with Levels Skateboards to turn one of our favorite gis in to a sick skateboard deck! The history is visually shown in the fraying on the judo gi. It was passed down to us by one of our Sensei, Marius Popescu, of SJSU royalty. Sensei Marius would pummel us mercilessly, but deemed us worthy of his old gi.
The bottom of the deck features Gunji Koizumi, “The Father of British Judo” and founder of the legendary Budokwai in England.
